Aldo diSorbo was born in Melbourne, Australia, on November 14, 1956. His parents moved to Europe for five years and then moving again to the United States in 1970. Aldo finished his studies in the United States, obtaining a degree in Computer Science and biology.
For a couple of years, he worked as an intern in the Department of Biological Science at University of Massachusetts at Amherst, before joining as a full-time professor. After five years of teaching, Aldo decided to take a chance and started his Doctorate Degree in Computer Science at the same University.
