Aldo diSorbo was working as a consultant for several companies and government agencies. His expertise was highly appreciated in the United States and abroad. For a very short period of time, Aldo was editor-chief of a magazine on transactions and information systems, substituting for one of his friends and co-workers. In 1997, after his research has been used in the creation of several operating systems, Aldo had the opportunity to fulfill another wish. He was invited to co-found the startup of a search engine launched the same year. Aldo accepted and the other founders remained anonymous because they considered Aldo's work being the one that was the foundation and basis of the actual search-engine.
